Flight 2-0-9er…you’re cleared for take off! Photographs of the Air & Space Museum

Reporter: What kind of plane is it?
Johnny: Oh, it’s a big pretty white plane with red stripes, curtains in the windows and wheels and it looks like a big Tylenol.
Airplane…

There is an art to capturing interiors. I fell in love with The Air & Space Museum in Chantilly, VA for this very reason. The design, the placement, the lighting…all phenonmenal. Found out they put in a bid for the space shuttle when it goes out of service. I can’t wait for that! Find something that moves you (no pun intended) and photograph the heck out of it. You’ll be amazed at what you can create!

  1. Me and my son love the Air and Space in Chantilly! We have the same birthday and for a few years I took him out of school and that’s where we went. He likes the planes and loves the elevator and wide open space. He just asked me the other day about going there again this year for our birthday.
    Great pictures.

  2. Thank you Jamie. I truly appreciate your feedback! It is such a great place. We can’t wait to go back again. The highlight for my son was to be able to get inside & touch the controls of the Cessna. I highly recommend the trip.
